 UBI-DBA001 《商业企业环境》 Commercial Business Environment

企业生存和发展的客观条件及运行中的诸关系。企业环境由企业内部环境和企业外部环境构成。企业内部环境包括组织结构、企业文化、资源条件等。外部环境包括自然条件、科学技术发展水平、国家制度和政策及社会文化背景等。企业要生存和发展,一方面要及时调整其活动方式和内容,增强自身对环境的适应能力;另一方面国家和社会要为企业发展提供有利条件,创造一个良好的社会环境。

外部环境影响企业,相应地企业也影响环境。而且影响企业的各种外部环境因素也经常是相互关联的。在当今的时代,新生事物层出不穷,市场环境瞬息万变,中国的企业任重而道远。只有在不断变化的环境中,寻找机会,规避风险,研究对策,才能使企业良好运营和发展。

This module presents us with the various conditions and relationships for enterprise survival and development. The business environment is made up of both an internal and external environment. The internal environment of business contains organizational structure, corporate culture, with varying resources and conditions. The external environment of business includes natural conditions, the level of scientific and technological development, national institutions and policies and social and cultural background. Enterprise, to survive and develop, must adjust their activities at the right time to enhance their own ability to adapt to the environment; and also the the state and society need to provide favorable conditions and create a good social environment for enterprise development.

The external environment affects business, with enterprises having a corresponding impact on the environment and a variety of external environmental factors are often interrelated. Nowadays, new factors are developing quickly and the market environment is changing rapidly, Chinese enterprises have a long way to go in responding to this changing environment. Only by looking for opportunities, avoiding the pitfalls, and studying strategy can it be possible to make business operate and develop successfully.

 

UBI-DBA002 《管理研究方法》 Management Research Methods

开发学生的逻辑思维、综合研究、定量分析和使用数学模型的能力,避免学员陷入深奥、枯燥的证明和推理,希望能够将学员引上符合国际规范的研究方法之路,为他们今后开展管理研究夯实基础。本学科从研究方法导论,要素和研究规范程序入手,详细阐述了研究设计,初级资料的获取方法、测量与数据、数据采集的设计与实施、次级资料的获取、定量分析、理论分析等。

This module aims at develop the students’ abilities of critical thinking, comprehensive research, quantitative analysis and avoid all the pitfalls of poor research and analysis. Students will learn how to effectively use evidence and reasoning to guide their research, using international standards of research so as they can tackle pragmatic problems related to both their management positions and academic studies. This module introduces the concepts of study design, primary data access methods, measurement and data, data collection design and implementation of access to secondary data, quantitative analysis, and theoretical analysis as well as effective research procedures.

 

UBI-DBA003 《高新技术企业与风险投资》High-tech Enterprise and Venture Capital Multinationa

由于高新技术企业具有相当的风险,很难从传统的金融机构那里获得融资,而风险投资公司正好解决这一问题,以向高技术企业提供财力和物力而获得高额回报来持续发展。同时,风险投资公司凭借自身在管理、经验、信息网络、人才诸方面的优势,弥补高技术企业在发展中的弱势,高技术企业的蓬勃发展才会给风险投资公司带来良好的经营业绩与发展态势。

本学科从财务和战略的角度讨论企业资本预算和投资决策的方法、指标和工具。帮助企业决策者围绕着公司价值最大化这一核心主题,进行正确的投资决策, 以有效使用公司的资金和相关资源,防范投资风险,正确的把握投资时机,促进企业稳定、快速的实现价值提升。

As the high-tech enterprises have considerable risk, it is difficult to get financing from the traditional financial institutions. However, venture capital firms which look for high returns, provide financial and material to high-tech enterprises to address this issue. Meanwhile, the venture capital firm make up for the lack of development of high-tech enterprises with their own advantages of management, experience, information network, human resources and other resources. The rapidly development of high-tech enterprises can bring excellent achievements and development strengths to them.

This module discusses the methods, indicators and tools of enterprise capital budgeting and investment decision-making from the angle of financial and strategy, to help enterprises to make the correct decision of investment with the theory of maximization of the corporate value, to minimize investment risk by using effectively  company’s financial and resources, to grasp correctly the investment opportunities, to promote enterprise stability and achieve value upgrading rapidly.

本学科关注市场导向下的知识转移,企业知识资本构成与知识资本审计;讨论如何进行知识创新与管理制度设计,以及知识管理的战略选择和绩效评估等。增加企业知识储备,将个人知识和信息提升为组织知识,轻松获取前人积累的知识,以此为基础不断创新,实现企业的可持续发展和创新,并减少员工休假、离职而造成的损失。并能利用这些知识储备分析外部环境的机会和挑战,获取相关资料,相应调整企业战略,领导市场潮流。

Managing knowledge within a firm can help us manage more effectively, by using existing and potential knowledge resources to promote enterprise learning, helping the firm evolve and create more cooperative processes, to become more knowledge-based enterprises by developing and improving enterprise competitiveness and adaptability.

This module is concerned about knowledge transfer under the market-oriented economy, business knowledge, capital formation and intellectual capital audits; discussing how to innovate and manage systems design, and strategic choice and performance evaluation of knowledge management. It aims to increase business knowledge and to enhance personal knowledge and information for the organization, provide easy access to the accumulated knowledge of our predecessors, which as a basis for continuous innovation and sustainable development of enterprise and innovation, reducing staff leave, analyze the opportunities and challenges of the external environment, achieving relevant information, adjusting business strategy and leading market trends by using these knowledge.

 

UBI-DBA005《高级经济学》Advanced Economics

为企业经营者提供管理过程中使用的经济学知识,使学员了解管理范围内的经济活动,学以致用。集合微观经济学、博弈论及信息经济学三大领域的最新研究成果,涉及统计学、经济理论和数学等多个学科的内容。主要介绍了市场供求、商业竞争等信息。研究在商业及一般社会活动中的模型,并将之用预测或辅助决策的作用和功能。以培养学生综合分析问题和解决问题的能力。

This module provides economic knowledge for business people to inform them about economic activities within the management of their firm and how they can apply them to business. The module also covers micro-economics, including the study of the firm, market supply and demand, business competition, and business models, which will be used to predict or support decision-making roles and functions as well as cultivating the student's analysis and problem-solving ability.

 

UBI-DBA006《资本运营与金融决策》 Capital Operation and Financial Decision-making

资本市场投资管理与公司理财是微观金融学中最重要的基本课程,公司投资金融资产和实物资产在实体经济中产生现金流使其证券具有价值,并在金融市场中换手为证券提供流动性从而保值,在特定投资环境中的投资政策是资本市场投资管理学的主要研究内容,但在任何公司理财的著作中都会涉及。现代公司如何制定金融决策是财务管理的核心内容。

本学科除了全面系统的理论讲述,还配以哈佛的研究案例,生动有趣的讲述了风险态度与价值确定性等值当量在金融决策中的应用。

Management of capital market investment and corporate finance is the most important basic module of micro-finance. Companies create value by investing financial assets and physical assets to bring cash flow in the real economy and for insuring currency value by investing in securities in the financial market to provide liquidity. Investment policy in a special investment environment is the main content of marketing investment management. How to make proper and appropriate financials decision is the main concern companies and which is covered in this course.

In addition, this module provides theoretic and systematic explanations, accompanied with Harvard study cases to describe lively and interesting applications of risk attitudes and value in financial decision-making.

 

UBI-DBA007 《战略营销管理》 Strategic Marketing Management

This module introduces in detail the origins of strategic management, different schools of thought, systems, and analysis tools of strategic decision-making, including macro-and industry analysis, demand and product portfolio analysis, and strategic posture, strategic relationship analysis; and a variety of strategic thinking and strategic models and introduce focused management problem analysis and management skill in the implementation of the strategy.

Leadership is a force, which enables people to complete task which exceed the normal standard and routine quality of a firm. Leadership as an element of social interaction is a complex activity, which includes: the possible outcomes which the impact from the actors who maybe the leaders or/and followers; achieve the goals, and objectives implementation from individuals, enhancement of team cohesion as well as the improvement of the organizational culture.

 

UBI-DBA009《多文化管理》Multi-cultural Management

对于跨国公司的管理者来说,不断提高对其他国家国民和文化的尊重要比完善的管理方法和优秀的管理人员更为重要。从这个意义上来说,企业的理念、核心价值观才是企业的核心竞争力。企业文化直接决定了企业的长期生存和发展,是一种无形的生产力。

整合文化,指的是不同文化在互相承认、重视彼此差异的基础上互相尊重、互相补充、协调和渗透,吸收文化中的精华,提炼出共同的价值和思想,使这种价值和思想能够减少文化冲突,使得每个员工能够把自己的思想行为同公司的经营业务和宗旨结合起来。

Having a good respect for people and cultures of other countries is more important than a sound management methods and good management to the managers of multinational corporations. In this sense, the enterprise's philosophy and core values are the enterprise's core competitiveness. Corporate culture will determine the long-term survival and development of enterprises, which adds to the firm’s intangible productivity.

Integration of culture refers to respect, complementarily, coordinate and infiltrate the base on different cultures and differences, absorb the essence of culture, abstract a common values and ideas to reduce the cultural conflict and link the think and behavior of each employee and company’s business and purpose together.

主要阐述论文写作的基本程序、基本要求、写作手法以及评定论文成绩的评分指标体系。以最近两年部分研究生、博士生的毕业论文、学术论文为例,对论文写作过程中应注意的一些问题进行具体分析评述。主要列示部分论文选题及写作思路和参考文献索引。

This module mainly explains the basic procedures, requirements, and writing techniques of thesis writing, as well as assessing the performance rating index system for writing papers. Two-year graduate and doctoral dissertations are taken as examples to analysis some main points .The subject also lists some topics and writing idea including the references index.

 

UBI-DBA011 《世界经济发展史》 History of The World Economic Development

为了更好地精读世界经济的发展历史,首先需要对经济史本身作出一些解释,对经济史研究的历史作一番考察;其次要从方法论的角度来认识经济史;最后要认识经济史研究的意义所在。只有这样,才能够使我们明白研究世界经济发展历史的重要性,从而更好地掌握这门学科。一般而言,理解世界经济史有两种方式,一是世界的经济发展演化历史,二是世界经济的发展历史。

For reading intensively history of the world economic development, first of all, we need to interpret its own history and to review the study of economic history. Secondly, need to know history in a methodological point of view. And finally, need to recognize the significance of economic history research. Only in this way will enable us to understand the importance of the study of world economic development history, so as to grasp better the discipline. 本学科详细描述了跨国公司和金融机构所处的国际金融环境,以及国际金融管理的理论和实务。学生将学习汇率确定的基本概念、如何管理交易的汇率风险的技能、会计和运营风险、国际融资战略、国际投资战略和国际金融管理。

本学科旨在加强学生评价国际金融与货币框架、分析和解决国际金融运营问题的能力。

This module describes in detail the transnational corporation and financial institutions in which the international financial environment operates, as well as international financial management theory and practice. Students will learn the basic concepts of determining the exchange rate, skill of managing exchange rate risk, accounting and operational risk, international financing strategies, international investment strategies and international financial management. This module aims to enhance the student’s evaluation ability of the international financial and monetary framework, analyze and resolve international financial operations issues.
